Bought this for my son and he's basically lived in it since. The fleece is breathable enough that he doesn't overheat running around at recess, but still cozy for chilly mornings. Held up through a few washes without pilling so far.

The fleece is genuinely soft on the inside but not so thick that he overheats during recess. We've washed it three times already and the neckline hasn't stretched out at all, which is usually my biggest gripe with kid's sweatshirts.

The gray color hides dirt well and the fleece keeps its shape after repeated washes, which matters when he wears it three days a week. It feels breathable during recess but cozy enough for the car ride home.
